Perfume Parisienne
Yves saint laurent Parisienne perfume ?
Does anyone else think that yves saint laurent Parisienne smells like urine ?my boyfriend loves the smell of it on me but I think it smells like urine ?and I can’t ask him if he thinks it smells like urine because he bought it for me..sooo opinions anyone ?and yes it is a genuine perfume
Hey, I recognize you from the question you asked the other day about this fragrance. I guess you got it authenticated.
Anyway, to your question at hand, it doesn’t smell like urine to me (I am not a fan of this fragrance) but after the first few seconds of light flowers, it starts to smell like loud, obnoxious and sharp plastic. I’m guessing that’s the “vinyl accord” they used in this fragrance.
Here’s the notes they released for YSL’s Parisienne:
Damascus rose, violet, peony, cranberry, patchouli, vetiver, musk and sandalwood, vinyl, lacquer.
Looking at the notes list, you can see everything there is pretty on par for the course for a perfume until you get to the last two notes. Vinyl and lacquer. Both of which are plastics and can have a sharp, unpleasant smell. I’m guessing that’s what smells like urine to you so you’re not far off lol.
