Are Betta fishes, lucky?

I just bought a female Betta fish and now I have the hard job to name her. I want to know, are Betta’s lucky??
I have a few names on my head such as:
Yuki- Snow or Lucky
Momoka- Hundred, Peach Tree, Flower, Smell, perfume
Rika- Village countryside
I kinda want to keep it with Character names, Such as Yuki, Zero, and Kaname (Vampire Knight’s 3 main characters) but I want to know if Betta’s are lucky.

Bettas are very often unlucky. Put into tiny cups in pet stores where some do die and often bought by people who don’t know any better and stuffed into small unheated unfiltered bowls.
